Exploring the Gippsland Lakes; a photo journal.

Dodging lightning storms on a perfectly still day.

Lois pointing out channel markers.

John and I deciding if we still need our wet weathers...we did.

The entry to the Mitchell River in the middle of Lake King.

The Mitchell River running into Lake King has formed silt jetties over hundreds of years which make for a fantastic view.

The number of large birds in the lakes is amazing, literally thousands of Swans and Pelicans.

The sunsets in the Bunga Arm were ridiculous!!!

My favourite photo of the trip so far, jumped out of the surf and paddled back to the boat to grab the camera in time for sunset.  A wet and stormy day finished up with a brilliant evening.
