Adelaide to St.Helens; A Mono-Hull Delivery Photo Diary.

During this brief hiatus from our ROAM adventure I was needed to help deliver a 40 foot Jeanneau from Adelaide to St.Helens.  My ocean time on a mono-hull yacht is zero so it was good to get some experience in something different.  We had a good range of conditions with swell up to 7.8m so it was a pretty fun trip all round.

Beatrice.

Just one of the several hundred dolphins we saw on the trip.  One night watch we were surrounded by a pod of dolphins that would leave bright blue bubble trails for 50 m every time  they broke the surface caused by phosphorescence.  Essentially glow in the dark dolphins!!!

The back of a squall near the Vic/SA border.

The nicest anchorage of the trip, Bay of Fires, Tasmania. Right next to home.....

Sorry about the lack of updates in the last couple of months we have all been working hard to make the next leg of our trip nice and long.  ROAM should be on move again in the next couple of weeks with episode 10 to come direct from NZ (all going to plan).
